(VARIOUS ATLANTA NEWS SOURCES/AP)  The Jury has reached a verdict in the Andrea Sneiderman case. WXIA 11Alive broadcast the jury verdict from the inside of Judge Gregory A. Adams’ Courtroom.

The verdict pronounced was GUILTY on 9 of 13 charges against Andrea Sneiderman.  She was convicted of making false statements and perjury.  She was accused of lying to police and lying under oath about the murder of her husband Rusty Sneiderman.  She had been originally charged with orchestrating the murder for hire, but prosecutors asked for and the Judge dropped the malice murder, felony murder, and aggravated assault charges after pre-trial discovery was presented to the Prosecutor.  Thomas Clegg, one of Sneiderman’s lead attorneys, balked at the explanation, saying in open court, “I believe they have known all along that they didn’t have a murder case.”  Sneiderman had been under house arrest prior to the dismissal of the murder charges.

Rusty Sneiderman was shot in 2010 outside a suburban Atlanta preschool.  Andrea Sneiderman’s former boss, Hemy Neuman was convicted in the killing in March 2012, but was found mentally incompetent

Sneiderman will be sentenced 9AM Tomorrow.
