CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE (From AP/WRCB Channel 3 Eyewitness News)–The President made a trip to Chattanooga, Tennessee to tour a fulfillment center for Amazon.com and touted workforce investment in a speech delivered to Amazon employees.

Many in the Chattanooga Media were present at different points in the City to cover the President’s Trip from the Chattanooga Municipal Airport to the Enterprise South complex where Amazon’s Chattanooga Fulfillment Center is housed.
President Obama also said that he wanted to raise the Minimum Wage to kickstart the economy. The President said that we were not hurting for lack of ideas, but a lack of action in Washington. The President made remarks about the House’s 40 votes to repeal the Affordable Care Act, though the Supreme Court of the United States has ruled it constitutional.
According to the White House, The President is willing to work with House Republicans. “The bottom line is that the President will work with Republicans on a package to simplify our business tax code so long as it includes real investments to help restore middle class security, create jobs and grow the economy.”
While the President was in ahead of schedule, he did leave almost on time, barring some delays as staff showed back up to the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport. He now makes the way back to Andrews Air Force Base and on to The White House to continue the Nation’s Business.
